New Wonderbra Campaign A Great Example Of Marketing Expert Advice In Free Online Business TV Series

Wonderbra campaign illustrates business experts' advice given in free online business TV shows: use the internet to build connections with customers

The new Wonderbra billboard campaign is yet another high profile example of how engaging customers online is a great marketing strategy. It's a strategy that the marketing experts on business TV network yourBusinessChannel have been advising for some time in the network's online business TV shows.

Wonderbra's new billboard campaign, launched earlier this month, features cleavage shots of thousands of women merged into a mosaic. While that's pretty clever, it's not actually where the true brilliance lies. What's really special is the way the company has engaged its customers in the process.

Last month Wonderbra began this campaign by actively encouraging thousands of women to attend an underwear shoot in London or to upload images of themselves in a Wonderbra. Now the billboards have been released, Wonderbra's website features an interactive version of the billboard where the approximately 8,000 women featured in the image, can zoom in on themselves and experience their own supermodel moment.

This is exactly the kind of approach that the business television network's featured business experts like Tom Smith of Universal McCann and online marketing guru David Meerman Scott, author of the best-seller The New Rules of Marketing and PR, have been recommending to viewers in yourBusinessChannel's Legends series of business TV shows.

Their expert business advice is straightforward: Advertising has fundamentally changed. You can't just talk at consumers anymore or rely on them finding your corporate site. You need to seek them out online, engage with them and act how you want the brand to be perceived.

In the case of Wonderbra this meant engaging consumers in a fun initiative that's also a little bit cheeky. And the results are fantastic.
