The object of the exercise is to provide a platform whereby travelers can assist prospective visitors to a region to make informed decisions regarding the hotel accommodation, general facilities, attractions etc. which are available there.
The users themselves are responsible for shaping, administering & marketing trivago and earn community shares for their contributions which, in turn, are allocated cash value as determined by the trivago shares program.
All hotel-owners are offered the opportunity to receive a free certification based on reviews by the most important people – their guests!
Membership is not limited to English speaking users – the aim is to create a multilingual, cross-cultural community and therefore trivago.co.uk shares a platform with its German counterpart trivago.de.
